I think we’re renting this tomorrow.
Situation a) I cry and cry and cry just like the day I saw it in the theatre, despite stanning the movie for months, my emotions remain raw and burning like a fiyah. Also, my hormones are completely destroyed right now and I have no idea why. I am not depressed at this current point in my life, but I keep crying lately, and not over sad things. I cry over commercials. I cry over funny videos. I cry over small news items in the paper over Lindsay Lohan. At this point I am just blaming my tear ducts.

Situation b) … eh I will just cry.

Something I will never understand: why is it that the people who can afford the stuff are the ones who get it for free?

KATHY: Are you thinking of applying, with Ruth?TOMMY: No… wouldn’t work.KATHY: Why?

For the love of all that’s good and holy and precious in this world, CLICK THROUGH. Their faces. I just have absolutely nothing coherent to say here just that I’m particularly in love with how quickly and surely he answers that he wouldn’t apply with Ruth. And Carey Mulligan! How touched she looks! Her effortless tears! Don’t you dare turn me into a stan, Carey Mulligan. Don’t. you. dare.

I’m so glad I’m a Carey stan, where the stans are nicer

WHERE THE STANS ARE NICER

IT’S SO NICE BEING A CAREY STAN

I like how the movie left out the fact that they boned all day everyday like there was no tomorrow.

I mean to consistently talk about a movie about 5 months after you saw it that’s kind of weird.

CAREY: We rehearsed with the kids—kids? young actors—we rehearsed with the young actors at the beginning and it was great, because I would do a scene with young Andrew and he would do a scene with young me, and we sort of played the scenes out for each other. And I suppose when we finished our stuff, because they shot all of our stuff first, we just didn’t want to let it go and we weren’t working and were readily available to just hang out, so we did. We just went in and watched. We watched all of them doing everything and they were so instinctive, so brilliant, and they’d read the book and they were making up their own characters, but I think the rehearsals we had where we did switch around melded us together a little bit. Thank you to airplangs for sending me this video :) Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield talk about Never Let Me Go.

A very looooong but enjoyable and thorough interview about the film, acting, and life in general.
