April 2, 1954: A couple is photographed moments after learning that their 19-month-old child had been swept out to sea at Hermosa Beach.
This is an old photograph of a young African American girl posing in a photo booth sometime during the 1930’s. Written above her in faded ink is “Mozella.” There is nothing to indicate where this photograph was taken.

This is a picture of an Animal Testing Facility.
The reason they use rabbits for animal testing is because they are the only animal who can not flush chemicals out of their eyes without using aids like water or their paws.
Next time you buy cosmetics or hair spray or anything in the beauty section - choose the brands that are NOT tested on animals.
Here’s a hint: Loreal are the worlds biggest cosmetic animal testers, and Garnier is a sub-company of Loreal.
If you have trouble finding out who tests on animals and who doesn’t, google is at your fingertips.
The look on the bunnies face second from the right is absolutely heartbreaking.
Garnier doesn’t test on animals though.
And this is clearly an old photo (probably mid-20th century?). While yes, there are a lot of brands still testing on animals, many have stopped and you’d be surprised how many brands, organic or luxury or whatever, are available out there that are cruelty free. Dior, Chanel, M.A.C., Clarins, all DO NOT test on animals.
